GoalKeeper Coach


BACKGROUND:

The goalkeeper coach will be responsible for the development, coaching, organization, and management of the goalkeepers for the girls & boys here at NorCal Rush Soccer.

Duties will include working one-on-one with all goalkeepers, assistance with recruiting, game management, equipment management, promotional activities, player eligibility & completing a player analysis report.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Required to be available two (2) evenings per week. 
Working hours will be approximately five (5) hours per week.

A coach’s working week is comprised of on-field coaching hours, administration duties and attendance
at mandatory staff training/meetings workshops in the spring and fall seasons.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY

Candidates must also hold a valid driving license and have their own vehicle for transportation
Candidates must have a clean criminal record Must have 3 years previous coaching experience Hold a recognized coaching qualification Be over the age of 18

QUALIFICATIONS

Proven history of developing players.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Collaborative management style – an advocate of team concepts.
Positive influencer, comfortable with leading dynamic change.
Must be able to work long hours, weekends and some holidays.
Minimum of a USSF D license (2015+ USSF E license) or NSCAA National Diploma
